WWE Evolution results: Nia Jax earns a future title shot with battle royal win

After the Twitter audience got a free concert and the Legends, the pay-per-view (PPV) only portion of Evolution kicked off with the 20 woman battle royal for a future title shot.

And not to shortchange any of the competitors, each got an entrance...

Closing out the intros, the IIconics got to enter with microphones to rundown the host city, Long Island, and the Legends in the field. Which of course led to their being the first two eliminations after the field jumped them at the bell...

Big spots included a quadruple suplex and a DANCE BREAK for Ivory and Mella, and team-ups and showdowns between Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville, former NXT rivals Ember Moon & Asuka and eventual winner Nia Jax and her cousin Tamina.

They almost swerved us at the end when Zelina Vega revealed herself after hiding for most of the match, but she celebrated without noticing her attack on Moon & Jax failed to eliminate either.
