Alexa Bliss won’t be wrestling at Evolution after all

WWE.com

We’ve been waiting for an update on Alexa Bliss, and now it’s here. And it’s not good.

According to a new story on WWE.com, Bliss will no longer be in the ring for scheduled match between herself and Mickie James versus Trish Stratus & Lita. Alicia Fox will step in to replace Bliss.

“Although James was originally slated to team with Alexa Bliss, The Goddess will be replaced by the wily Fox in this blockbuster match-up, and will instead be in Mickie & Alicia’s corner.”

Over the weekend, rumors began to surface that Bliss had suffered an injury while wrestling on a house show. This directly on the heels of Bliss reportedly being cleared to return to the ring after being out of action for a month.

In September, Bliss was pulled out of the Mixed Match Challenge for what the WWE said at the time was numbness in her left arm. At the time of the injury it was still not clear if Bliss was selling an armbar from Ronda Rousey or was taking time from the ring to heal a different injury.

Earlier in the week, Bliss’ partner, James, at Evolution said she would be competing on Sunday.

Bliss has already taken to social media to give her thoughts on being pulled out of Evolution.

Here’s to a speedy recovery for Bliss.

Alexa Bliss will still work the corner for Mickie James & Alicia Fox versus Trish Stratus & Lita but it is unknown if she will be able to get physically involved in the match.

With Bliss officially out, does it change your pick for the match-up at Evolution?
