Monday Night Raw opened with Roman Reigns revealing he had leukemia and it closed with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose in the main event.
Hours after one of the most emotional first segments in the history of Raw, the remaining members of The Shield got a shot at the Raw tag team titles.
Facing off with champions Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre, Ambrose and Rollins came out of the gates going 100 miles per hour.

Later in the mach, both teams got a little more sloppy, before a Rollins put on a furious comeback that sent the Raw live crowd into a frenzy.

With the match still up in the air the music for Braun Strowman hit and the ref took a bump. Strowman came looking for McIntyre, after earlier in the night he was taken out by a wicked Claymore kick.
The Monster Among Men would run off McIntyre, leaving Ziggler to get Curb Stomped By Rollins. The Shield would pick up the win and recapture the Raw tag titles. For a brief moment it was a storybook ending for Ambrose and Rollins.
Then this happened out of nowhere

Why?
Why now?
Dammit Dean Ambrose.
This has been building for weeks but to break-up The Shield on the night Roman Reigns relinquishes the title is something else.
Timing is everything, was this the right time for Dean Ambrose to stab Seth Rollins in his still beating heart?
