With pressure mounting and Senators calling for WWE to reconsider its relationship with Saudi Arabia, reports made the rounds today that the company is still “full steam ahead” with the show and there are no plans to cancel. It’s a lucrative deal for WWE, which is obviously why they’re doing it, but others have pulled out of even more lucrative business dealings over the ongoing crisis surrounding the disappearance of journalist Jamal Khashoggi and allegations he was murdered in the Saudi Arabian consulate in Turkey under orders from Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

It’s an ugly situation. It was already a bad look that WWE made this deal considering its promotion of a women’s revolution both within the company and beyond but this has led to a sustained outcry from both the media and the public. The reality may very well be that WWE is benefiting from the fact that, well, pro wrestling is still relatively small potatoes in the grand scheme of things.

Still, it’s a bad look.

Having said that, we’ve had folks in the comments section right here on our site arguing that nothing has been proven yet and WWE isn’t wrong for fulfilling its obligations as per the deal they made before any of this happened. I certainly don’t subscribe to that line of thought but it shows there is another line of thought amongst at least some fans.

With that in mind, I wondered what the response would be if we simply ask the question to you, dear reader. So take the poll below and let us know!
