We’ll have our regularly scheduled Stock Report from Cain A. Knight a little later today. Cain’s known for hot takes that a lot of people don’t agree with, even inside the hallowed halls of the Cageside offices. But we trust his forecast a lot more than WWE’s own... and this week’s “Power Rankings” are a good example of why:
Sure, Triple H won at Super Show-Down, and that happened within the week between one of these lists from The ‘E. But the closing image from the Oct. 6 pay-per-view (PPV) from Melbourne was he & Shawn Michaels laid out by Kane & Undertaker.
Now, you could argue that “power” in WWE is measured by things like getting the opening segment on Raw and booking yourself in the main event of the next big event (for dudes), Crown Jewel on Nov. 2 (maybe). In which case, great job, DX!
We’ll just wait for Cain’s report.
Or you could accept that all of these things are meaningless in a pre-determined activity where winners & losers are largely decided by one man.
But where’s the fun in that?
