While roughly eight zettabytes worth of storage is taken up on web servers by articles about Brie Bella injuring Liv Morgan with a pair of kicks on Raw last Monday (Sept. 24), we haven’t heard much from Morgan herself.
Bella posted an in-character tweet of regret and WWE issued a statement confirming the 24 year suffered a concussion and indicating she was being treated under their wellness policy’s protocol for head injury. But we haven’t heard anything from Liv, her Riott Squad teammates and friends Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan, or anyone else.
Officially, we still haven’t. But fans and several news sites are reporting Morgan travelled with the red brand this past weekend, and appeared ringside - but didn’t get involved or take any bumps - as Riott and Logan teamed with Alicia Fox in a match against Ember Moon, Natalya and Dana Brooke during Sunday night’s house show in Abbotsford, British Columbia. So, it’s time for everyone to start wondering about the six-woman tag the Riott Squad is supposed to be in this upcoming Saturday (Oct. 6) in Melbourne, Australia at Super Show-Down.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Morgan will be evaluated at Monday Night Raw in Seattle. If she’s not clear to travel or compete, Fox will likely take her place in Riott Squad’s match against Ronda Rousey and the Bella Twins at The MCG.
Stay tuned.
