Shane McMahon just won’t leave Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn alone. To kickoff tonight’s (Jan. 9) SmackDown, McMahon booked Owens and Zayn in a two on three handicap main event.
The opening part of the match did not go well for the Canadian friends as Shinsuke Nakamura, Randy Orton and AJ Styles took turns dominating them. After a very brief rally, Owens and Zayn tried to hightail it out of the ring.

Not so fast.
Before Owens and Zayn could make it up the ramp, McMahon stopped them and changed the rules of the main event to a no count out stipulation.

With the bout appearing to be a lost cause for the BFFs, Owens used a steel chair to get his team disqualified. As Owens and Zayn again left the ring, you guessed it, Shane McMahon announced the main event was now a no count out, no DQ match-up.

As Owens was being chased away by Styles, Zayn was left to take an anything goes beating courtesy of Orton and Nakamura.
If you’re keeping score at home Shane McMahon allowed Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn to lose by count out, DQ and pin fall in the span of a single SmackDown main event.
Where was Daniel Bryan during all this? Has Shane McMahon’s power gone too far?
