This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw featured Jason Jordan doing his damnedest to become a member of The Shield and the two actual members who aren’t injured, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, resisting. Even still, Jordan is a tag team champion alongside Rollins, and they still owe Cesaro & Sheamus a rematch for those titles.
As announced on Raw, that match will happen at the upcoming Royal Rumble pay-per-view (PPV) scheduled for Sun., Jan. 28, 2018, at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
It’s interesting that on the same night this was announced, The Bar lost to Titus Worldwide in a surprise result that saw Titus O’Neil and Apollo Crews get themselves over with what has always been an entertaining act that simply needed the right stage for it. Adding Dana Brooke has only helped them.
There are a couple episodes of Raw remaining before The Bar challenge for the titles, so there’s time to avenge that defeat and get back in the win column.
The updated Royal Rumble match card:
- Royal Rumble (Men)
- Royal Rumble (Women)
- Brock Lesnar vs. Braun Strowman vs. Kane (Universal championship)
- AJ Styles vs. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn (WWE championship)
- US Title Tournament Final
- Seth Rollins & Jason Jordan vs. Cesaro & Sheamus
