Enzo Amore vs. Cedric Alexander Cruiserweight title match set for Raw

When Cedric Alexander won a mini-tournament for the right to challenge Enzo Amore for the Cruiserweight championship, he was supposed to get a shot on last week’s episode of Monday Night Raw. However, the champ fell ill and spent the better part of the day in the hospital.

Reports indicated he made it to the arena in Miami and asked WWE brass to allow him to wrestle but he was, of course, turned away.

He’s healthy now, though, as evidenced by his return to wrestling on the house show circuit this weekend and that means the promotion has rescheduled the match for this week’s episode of Raw in Memphis.

WWE is selling the match on the chance that Enzo still isn’t 100-percent:

Will Enzo be at full health for the title contest, or will Raw be Cedric’s night to rise to the top of the Cruiserweight division? And how will the Zo Train factor into the major championship match? Find out tomorrow night on Raw!

Indeed.
