If you were wondering who would become Ronda Rousey’s first WWE opponent, tonight’s (Jan. 29) edition of Monday Night Raw left you with more questions than answers. After making her debut at the Royal Rumble on Sunday, Rousey only appeared on Raw the next night in video package form.
Here is the video WWE rolled out at the top of the show and in the third hour to promote their big free agent signing.

24 hours after the historic first all female Royal Rumble match, some in the locker room did not take kindly to Raw’s spotlight already heavily titled towards the former UFC bantamweight champion.
Nikki Bella kicked off the anger early in the night.
Wonder what all the 30 other women candid thoughts were too? N #firsteverwomensroyalrumble https://t.co/42sztg2JWB

Quoting an official WWE tweet, Nikki Bella doubled down on her beef with Rousey.

Nia Jax also reacted to the same WWE tweet and their attempt at hyping up the Rousey signing.
Cool she’s here....I guess 30 women making history can just be forgotten https://t.co/fHqMezduEH

Still awaiting Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair to bring some flaming hot tea to the table.
Both Bella and Jax make valid points, and they piggy back off many of the same concerns from fans about how Ronda Rousey closing the show at Royal Rumble overshadowed the main event match.
Whether these are genuine concerns from Nikki Bella and Nia Jax or it’s their own attempt to cash-in on a potential big money Rousey feud down the road, the WWE’s newest signing is now the promotion’s biggest lighting rod.
How will the WWE balance building up Ronda Rousey while not forgetting about a locker room full of women who just stole the show at the 2018 Royal Rumble?
