It’s a big weekend for WWE, with NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia and Royal Rumble set to take place over the next two nights, not to mention Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live the two nights after. Considering the nature of said shows, it makes sense that the company would be bringing almost the entirety of its rosters to town.
It’s no surprise, then, that reports are going around noting various names have been spotted in Philly ahead of these shows.
According to PW Insider, both Michelle McCool (who has been rumored for the women’s Royal Rumble match) and her husband, Undertaker (who returned to television at Raw 25 just days ago) are both in town.
Elsewhere, they also report recent WWE signings Candice LaRae and Ricochet are there. That could impact tonight’s NXT event.
Another name that could be involved in some way, tonight or tomorrow, is EC3, who recently left Impact Wrestling. Apparently he, too, has been spotted around town.
The long and short of it is you can expect that pretty much everyone will be in town for one of the biggest WWE weekends of the year. Whether or not they’re used is another matter altogether.
