Braun Strowman is still not finished with him. For over two years Strowman has been on the WWE’s main roster and despite having a lot of memorable feuds, The Monster Among Men has yet to taste championship gold.
This Sunday at the Royal Rumble, Strowman gets another shot at a WWE title when he joins Kane and WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar in a triple threat match. We won’t know the results of that match until Sunday night, but recent reports suggest the WWE is moving Strowman in a new direction come Monday morning.
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscription required and recommended), Strowman’s next feud may be pretty awesome.
Per WON, the current plan from the WWE is for The Miz to defend the Intercontinental title against Braun Strowman at WrestleMania 34. Also, a possible Hollywood A-Lister versus Monster feud could further drive home the point of Brock Lesnar versus Roman Reigns once again headlining another WrestleMania.
WrestleMania 34 takes places on April 8, 2018 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Both Strowman and The Miz are coming huge 2017 campaigns, and the pair have had ongoing animosity since TLC back in October 2017. At TLC, The Miz, Kane, Cesaro and Sheamus did throw Strowman in a garbage truck.
Is this the right Mania match for Braun Strowman? The Miz? Or should both men be headed in different directions on the road to WrestleMania?
