WWE’s Chief Brand Officer and Raw commissioner Stephanie McMahon has been a part of the company’s Divas Revolution/Women’s Evolution pretty much every step of the way. That included announcing that 2018’s Royal Rumble event would feature the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble match in a kayfabe-breaking segment late last year.
So you knew she wasn’t gonna not be involved in the match itself.
This afternoon (Jan. 24), Steph announced her role via Twitter:
Announcing the first-ever women's #RoyalRumble match was one of my all-time favorite moments in @WWE... And now I'm proud to share that I'll be joining the Announce team for this historic match this Sunday! #RumbleForAll #RoyalRumble pic.twitter.com/ehovcuGCXG

You can now proceed to nervously make jokes about McMahon entering and winning the Rumble, having a late-match staredown with Ronda Rousey, or whatever your internet wrestling fan heart comes up with.
