WWE SmackDown Live ratings (Jan. 23, 2018): Numbers hold up after Raw 25

You’d think maybe folks were burnt out from three-plus hours of celebrating WWE history the night before, or were saving up for a big Royal Rumble weekend of wrestling. But on Tuesday, Jan. 23, SmackDown’s numbers hung basically right around the same levels they’ve been at for the past month.

Viewers were down slightly from the last Tuesday, but only by approximately 22K, to 2,580,000. Demographic share among 18 - 49 year olds was up a bit, rising from .78 on Jan. 16 to a .80 last night. That was the second highest rating among cable originals, behind Curse of Oak Island, from the tenth biggest audience. That History Channel reality show, HGTV’s Fixer Upper, MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow and six Fox News’ programs had more viewers.

The Rumble fallout show and Road to WrestleMania should provide a boost. While you’re waiting for that, here’s a list of the numbers from the past six months (including overall 18 - 49 year old ratings for 2018 episodes):
