The Miz topples Roman Reigns, wins back his IC title at Raw 25

The first, and what looks like the only, title put on the line at Raw 25 was Roman Reigns putting his Intercontinental Championship up for grabs versus former champ The Miz.

With the Barclays Center crowd firmly behind the challenger, The Miz picked up the early lead in the match.

As Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas firmly planted themselves on the outside, a ring post to the shoulder attack bothered the champion throughout the remainder of the match. The shoulder injury coupled with outside interference from Miz’s employees (friends) put Reigns in the hole.

Finally the referee in charge of action gave The Miztourage the boot.

In the ensuing sequence, The Miz hit Reigns with a Skull Crushing Finale but only got two. Moments later Roman Reigns charged at the challenger again but went face first into an exposed turnbuckle.

Metal on face plus yet another Skull Crushing Finale was enough for The Miz to score the upset and regain IC gold.

What is next for The Miz? Where does Roman Reigns go from here?
