Jason Jordan reportedly will miss weekend house shows due to ongoing injury

WWE.com

While there’s been no statement from WWE or the man himself, or even an in-story acknowledgement of an issue, it looks like whatever injury is lingering for Jason Jordan continues to linger. PWInsider reports he will not work this weekend’s Raw house shows, presumably because of the same issue they covered earlier in the week which led to his not wrestling on the Jan. 15 Raw.

Jordan is still scheduled to be in New York for this upcoming Monday’s show, but with it being the 25th Anniversary extravaganza, it should be easy enough to keep the tag champ out of the ring for another few days.

At this time, JJ and Seth Rollins are still scheduled to defend their titles against The Bar on Jan. 28 at Royal Rumble. That there have been no changes to that, and the lack of any mention of an issue on-screen, point to all involved believing Jordan should be ready for the pay-per-view (PPV).

Samoa Joe and Paige were already pulled from working Royal Rumble for the red brand due to injuries, so obviously they’re hoping to not have to change an advertised championship match, too.

We shall see.
