American Ninja Warrior finalist Kacy Catanzaro officially joins NXT

For fans of flippy style of wrestling former American Ninja Warrior star Kacy Catanzaro may be the greatest flipping prospect pro wrestling has ever seen.

After receiving a WWE tryout back in Jan. 2017 and briefly appearing at the Mae Young Classic on Aug. 27, the WWE officially announced today that Catanzaro has reported to NXT.

Per WWE:

“Kacy Catanzaro has been among the more enticing names expected to join the WWE Performance Center. Now, WWE.com can confirm that the “American Ninja Warrior” alumna has officially reported to NXT.”

A former collegiate gymnast, Catanzaro made a name for herself back in 2014 when she became the first woman to complete the qualifying obstacle course on ANW. Standing five feet and weighing 100 pounds, the 28-year-old Catanzaro would also become the first woman ever to complete a city finals obstacle course on the NBC reality competition series.
