Another long-rumored WWE addition has been confirmed today (Jan. 16), with the company following up on their earlier announcement about Ricochet with news War Machine will be joining him in the new Performance Center class.
Hanson (aka “War Beard”, real name Todd Smith) and Raymond Rowe are a pair of hosses in the same mold as current SmackDown team The Bludgeon Brothers or historic greats like Demolition and The Road Warriors. They’ve been tag champs in Ring of Honor, New Japan and elsewhere since partnering up in 2014.
At a combined weight of 550 pounds, they shouldn’t have a problem handling anything WWE throws at them. Their biggest challenge might getting ring and television time on an increasingly crowded roster, but Hanson and Rowe’s athleticism - and an impressive arsenal of tandem maneuvers that utilize their size, strength and agility -should help them stand out.
