Asuka and Nia Jax finally crossed paths on the main roster and it lived up to the hype. Tonight (Jan. 15) on Raw, the irresistible force met the immovable object and may have given us a glimpse what will happen in the first women’s Royal Rumble match.
Going back and forth, both Asuka and Jax got their licks in.

With buckle bombs, triangle chokes, Earthquake splashes, power bombs all hitting, the story of the match turned into Asuka trying to chop down the size advantage Jax had over her.
Can @WWEAsuka pull this off to extend the undefeated streak?! #RAW pic.twitter.com/SFhSRjGLIA

You BLINK in the ring with @WWEAsuka, and you wind up in a submission hold within seconds... #RAW pic.twitter.com/U7WoasGamq

Jax beat the count back into the ring but could not put any weight on her leg. Asuka’s undefeated streak continues as she was declared the winner by referee stoppage.
If Jax can’t beat Asuka, who on the main roster can?
