While promoting the match, not to mention a stop down in NXT, Tye Dillinger had some high praise for the current United States champion:

"No doubt will Tuesday be the biggest match of my career. AJ Styles, in my opinion, is pound-for-pound the best we have on this planet. For the United States championship, the stakes don't get much higher."
So he’s a perfect 10?
You know what, though? AJ Styles probably is the best in the world right now. There’s little doubt he’s the best stateside, and even if you go international there aren’t many names who measure up. The PWI 500 this year has only Kazuchika Okada listed above him.
Agree with Dillinger?
