We can debate how Asuka’s run as NXT’s longest reigning champion was ended, but the fact of the matter is the Empress of Tomorrow is headed to either Raw or SmackDown soon without a singles loss on her WWE resume.
Nothing lasts forever. And whether it comes from a well-built payoff or a quick defeat which will lead to fans screaming about how Vince McMahon “ruined” her, someone is going to be the first wrestler to pin a loss on Asuka.
Who will it be? Who should it be?
WWE.com is trying to cover both questions in this poll:

They offer ten choices, one of which is “other”. As of noon ET on Saturday, Sept. 9, the results stand at:
Becky Lynch - 39%
Charlotte Flair - 22%
Naomi - 10%
Other - 9%
Alexa Bliss - 6%
Sasha Banks - 6%
Nia Jax - 5%
Bayley - 2%
Emma - 1%
Natalya - 1%
Presumably there’s some rounding up, because the WWE Universe is giving it 101% here. But those are some interesting results, if only as evidence of the power of the Lasskicker’s grassroots support - or more evidence of how the Hugster’s stock has fallen since she was competing for the NXT Women’s title with Asuka just a little more than a year ago.
Who gets your vote? The poll is still open here, and please discuss your answer below.
