Sasha Banks on the Four Horsewomen of MMA: ‘They’re just fans’

Here’s Sasha Banks taking a real good shot at the Four Horsewomen of MMA during her appearance on the Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast recently (transcription via Wrestling Inc):

“It's awesome, but we are The Four Horsewomen and they're just fans. Yeah, and if they wanted to fight us, they need to get in the back of the line like everybody else, get a contract, train down at the Performance Center, get on NXT, and try to get called up just like everybody else."

This is relevant, of course, because WWE is ramping up its promotional efforts for the very obvious pending confrontation between the Four Horsewomen of MMA and the Four Horsewomen of WWE. The next time the two will be in the same place at the same time is the Mae Young Classic Finals.

Sadly, Banks may be missing that.

Still, it’s clear a match is in the works and Banks will almost surely be a part of that, even if she’s missed all of the on-screen promotion for it so far. The shot she’s taken here is one many fans will likely latch onto, as it’s a feeling many are eager to echo, and it’s only going to get louder.

This should be fun.
