SmackDown Live saw a real nice bump for its first show following the SummerSlam pay-per-view (PPV) a couple weeks ago but numbers dropped to 2.45 million last week when they hit the reset button.
The good news? Viewers went back to normal levels this week.
Indeed, the show drew 2.58 million viewers, featuring a main event number one contender match pitting Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Randy Orton with the winner earning a WWE title shot at Hell in a Cell. That match, plus a Carmella vs. Natalya non-title bout, was promoted a full week ahead of time.
