Two new Women’s title contenders and two rematches added to No Mercy

WWE.com

Their next pay-per-view (PPV) is still three weeks away, but Raw was busy booking matches for the card in Omaha on Sept. 4.

Two of the No Mercy bouts are SummerSlam rematches, while a change to an already announced title tilt keeps it from being another do over from The Biggest Party of The Summer.

First, the change. General Manager Kurt Angle was tired of hearing Emma and Nia Jax argue about how they deserved a place in the Women’s title match on Sept. 24, so he made them tag partners against the two wrestlers already booked for No Mercy, the former champ, Sasha Banks, and the current one, Alexa Bliss. A win put Jax and the Aussie in a Fatal 4Way, and win they did when Emma tagged herself in to pin The Boss after Nia dropped a leg on her.

Afterwards, Jax took out her partner with a Samoan Drop, but the damage to Sasha and Alexa’s championship dreams was done, as both can now lose in Los Angeles without being pinned or submitted.

Next, Cesaro and Sheamus are using their rematch clause for a chance to get their belts back from Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins on PPV.

Finally, there’s no titles on the line in the latest collision between Bray Wyatt and Finn Bálor, but Wyatt’s convinced the Irishman to leave his demonic alter-ego at home by claiming Finn can’t beat him without the body paint. When they face off again at No Mercy, it’ll be man vs. man.

Here’s your updated line-up for Sept. 24:

- Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Braun Strowman for the Universal championship

- Roman Reigns vs. John Cena

- Emma vs. Nia Jax vs. Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Sasha Banks in a Fatal 4Way for the Raw women’s title

- Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins (c) vs. Cesaro and Sheamus for the Raw Tag Team championship

- Bray Wyatt vs. Finn Bálor
