LAST WARNING
...
Episode 5
- The final sixteen competitors are on stage with the trophy as Jim Ross and Lita hype our second round match-ups
- Video package combines profiles of Abbey Laith and Rachel Evers with interviews of each talking about facing each other (each of these bouts get this treatment, which play more babyface vs. babyface than the 1st round did, with some exceptions)
- Abbey Laith def. Rachel Evers via pinfall following an alligator clutch (~5:00), countering a boot after Evers was frustrated she didn’t get three on a powerslam from the top rope
- Piper Niven def. Serena Deeb via pinfall following a Michinoku Driver (~7:00), countering a spear. Lots of Serena surviving power moves from Niven leading to her kicking out of a Viper Bomb and rolling out of one from the top rope before the finishing sequence.
- Kalisto in attendance for the next match
- Mercedes Martinez def. Princesa Sugehit via pinfall following a fisherman’s buster (~5:30). Martinez’s left shoulder was “injured” during the match and aggravated by Princesa’s Fujiwara Armbar, setting up a story for her quarterfinal match with Abbey Laith.
- Charly Caruso intros the preview video for our main event...
- Kairi Sane def. Bianca Belair via pinfall following the diving elbow drop (~10:00). Belair dominated (and played heel, pretty much) for most of the match, but when Sane kicked out of a gorgeous 450 Splash, she lost it, missed a spear and the rest was history.
Episode 6
- As JR and Lita preview the show’s card, we’re shown Ronda Rousey and Jessamyn Duke of the Four Horsewomen of MMA entering Full Sail Live
- Toni Storm def. Lacey Evans following Strong Zero (~5:00) after getting her knees up on a handspring splash attempt
- Bayley, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch throw up the “FOUR” hand sign behind Shayna during her entrance
- Shayna Baszler def. Mia Yim via submission with a rear naked choke (~5:00) after getting her knees up on a 450 attempt; Rousey, Duke and Marina Shafir are shown cheering Baszler on after the win
- The Four Horsewomen showdown happens as Shayna exits. Baszler and Lynch, Flair and Bayley jaw as she leaves, and it leads to that trio yelling at the mixed martial artists on the other sides of the aisle. The announcers tease a Four Horsewomen feud as a way to transition to Charly Caruso introducing our next match...
- Dakota Kai def. Rhea Ripley via pinfall following the double foot stomp (~7:00) OUT OF NOWHERE (actually, after getting Ripley in a Tree of Woe) after Ripley out-powered her most of the match
- Johnny Gargano is shown cheering his wife on during Candice’s entrance
- Candice LaRae def. Nicole Savoy via pinfall following Ms. LaRae’s Wild Ride (~6:00) after Savoy gets frustrated she can’t finish it on the ground and tries to go up top for a superplex, but Candice fights out to get her finisher. LaRae heads outside to hug Gargano before going back in to have her hand raised.
Episode 7
- Mercedes Martinez def. Abbey Laith via pinfall following a fisherman’s buster (~9:00). Laith got a nearfall off a German suplex and tried for the alligator clutch, but Martinez countered, hit a boot and then her finisher to advance to the semis.
- Shayna Baszler def. Candice LaRae via submission with the rear naked choke (~3:00). This was a mid-air counter to Ms. LaRae’s Wild Ride after Shayna took Candice up top for a suplex attempt.
- After the match, Baszler refuses to release the hold. She kicks at the unconscious Candice while Johnny Gargano and trainers check on her.
- Toni Storm def. Piper Niven via pinfall following a top rope leg drop (~8:00). Piper hit a Michinoku driver for a nearfall but couldn’t get three, then went with the cannonball to set up a Viper Driver, but Toni grabbed her for a German and then went to the finish.
- Rousey, Duke and Shafir are leaving when an interview rolls up. They put over Shayna, and then Bayley, Becky and Charlotte walk up. A back and forth ends with Ronda telling them to name a time and a place and IT’S ON!
- Kairi Sane def. Dakota Kai via pinfall following the diving elbow drop (~8:30). The story was Dakota’s knee was injured when Kairi attacked it after Kai missed a Yakuza Kick early. When the New Zealander battled back from several nearfalls, she tried to hit the Yakuze again but missed, and Sane took advantage by using an Alabama slam to put her opponent in position for the elbow.
Episode 8
- Shayna Baszler def. Mercedes Martinez via submission with the rear naked choke (~8:00). After Saito and German suplexes, Mercedes went for the fisherman’s buster, but Shayna fought out to hit a Falcon Arrow she took right into the sleeper.
- Triple H, Sarah Amato and Stephanie McMahon come to the ring to congratulate both women and raise Baszler’s hand.
- Kairi Sane def. Toni Storm via pinfall following the diving elbow drop (~14:00). Storm worked the arm with an armbar and hit her bridging muscle buster and the top rope leg drop, but Sane survived to advance.
- The bosses are back out to congratulate all involved. Sane and Baszler square off while the announcers hype next Tuesday’s finals.
