Brock Lesnar successfully defended the Universal championship when he defeated Braun Strowman at the No Mercy pay-per-view (PPV) just this past Sunday night. He wasn’t on Monday Night Raw this week and isn’t scheduled for any upcoming shows for the foreseeable future.
The folks at PW Insider noticed he’s now being advertised for Raw on Nov. 13 in Atlanta, Georgia. That would be the go home episode for the Survivor Series event just six days later but, interestingly enough, Lesnar isn’t currently advertised for that show. The Wrestling Observer notes he isn’t scheduled for it.
Rumors indicate Finn Balor could be his next opponent, and he mentioned on television he wants to finally come after the Universal title he never lost. But that’s clearly still a ways away, which gives them time to build him up.
The long term direction, of course, is for Lesnar to defend the title against Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans next year.
