If Stone Cold Steve Austin never delivers another Stunner in his life, Xavier Woods will be the answer to a trivia question for all of eternity. Of course, WWE is always one call away but when Wrestling Inc asked if that was it, he seemed ready to be done once and for all:
"I don't know, I never think about it... I got a lot of great memories of that business, but I got it out of my system. You gotta realize, I've been gone 14 years. You gotta get over something at some point and that's way long enough for me to get over it. I look back with fond memories and I still watch to this day because I love the business and I like the guys and girls to be doing good at it and have a way to make a living for their family. But I'm done, I'm good."
At the very least, we can be reasonably sure he’s not coming back for another match. Talk of that seemed to die out once CM Punk left the company. At 52-years-old, with the wear-and-tear on his body, and all the outside projects he has, that’s for the best.
It probably says something about WWE’s ability to make stars in 2017 that Austin, who has wrestled in over a decade, is still getting these questions.
