WWE No Mercy 2017 results: The Miz retains Intercontinental title with help from his Miztourage

Jason Jordan earned a shot at the Intercontinental championship just a week ago and that chance came in a match against The Miz at tonight’s (Sun., Sept. 24, 2017) WWE No Mercy pay-per-view (PPV) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

He didn’t take advantage.

They were quick to tease involvement from The Miztourage, with Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas lingering on the outside, always threatening to interfere. Naturally, they did just that.

Right when it mattered most.

Just as he had heated up and looked ready to finish Miz off, Dallas distracted him. He managed to take Bo out but he ended up in the ring, so, of course, the referee took the time to tend to him and get him out. That gave Axel an opening and Miz cleaned up with a Skull Crushing Finale to get the pin, retaining his title.

After, Jordan was interviewed in the ring and made clear he felt it sucked and The Miztourage sucks and this all sucks.
