If you noticed Matt Hardy wrestled Karl Anderson instead of The Hardy Boyz wrestling The Good Brothers at the WWE house show in Sacramento last night (Sept. 22, 2017), there’s a reason why. As it turns out, Jeff Hardy is injured.
That’s the word from Pro Wrestling Sheet, at least.
The report calls it a “bad” shoulder injury while noting it’s entirely possible he may need surgery to fix it, although that’s not definite. Either way, if he’s out for any extended amount of time that would open the door for a singles run for his brother.
There are a lot of intriguing possibilities with that.
Still, Jeff is a beloved star in WWE and we can only hope his injury isn’t as serious as it may turn out to be.
