When WWE split its brands, Paige was drafted to the Monday Night Raw roster. Suspensions and neck problems have kept her off television for over a year now, however. Now that she’s on the comeback trail, having made her way to the Performance Center to begin training for her return, WWE is gearing up promotion for it.
That includes an article on the company website outright questioning which brand she’ll end up on. Considering there’s already been a Superstar Shake-Up, not to mention a free agent or two, it makes sense.
Well, according to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscription required), there is a storyline in place to bring her back to TV and she is “tentatively” scheduled to come back on SmackDown Live. With Asuka set to join the Monday Night Raw roster, perhaps WWE believed the blue brand needed the depth.
She’ll join Natalya, Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Naomi, Carmella, Tamina, and Lana, if that is indeed the show she ends up on.
