Here’s why WWE isn't 'leaving money on the table' with big Fall PPV matches

It’s a common refrain, and one I’ve cried out myself in the past.

“That’s a WrestleMania-caliber match! Why is WWE booking it for a ‘B’ pay-per-view?”

In their latest video collaboration above, Cageside’s Cain A. Knight and Stephanie Hatala answer that very criticism as it applies to big bouts coming up like Braun Strowman and John Cena at this weekend’s Raw event, No Mercy, or Shane McMahon vs. Kevin Owens at October’s Hell in a Cell show from the SmackDown brand.

Check it out and see if you agree with their arguments: it’s better to strike now with hot programs instead of hoping they’re still hot in six months, and WWE needs to give fans a reason to remain subscribers of the Network, rather than just signing up for marquee PPVs like Royal Rumble and ‘Mania.

And if you like what you see, remember to like our Facebook page and subscribe to our YouTube channel, where Cain and Stephanie are producing videos like this all the time!
