Bobby "The Brain" Heenan has passed away at the age of 73 years old, as noted by WWE on its website.
He was truly one of the most entertaining performers the wrestling business has ever seen, and he did it all from wrestling to managing to announcing. Many fans consider him to be the greatest manager of all-time. Some of the wrestlers he walked down the aisle with include Andre the Giant, Nick Bockwinkel, "Ravishing" Rick Rude, and "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig.
More from WWE.com:
As impossible as it may seem, Heenan’s overwhelming success as a manager was matched by that of his announcing career. Heenan’s constant verbal jousts with fellow WWE Hall of Famers Gorilla Monsoon and “Mean” Gene Okerlund on USA Network remain among the most entertaining moments in sports-entertainment history.
He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2004.
