“As hell” is not a unit of measure but I can think of no other way to describe just how over Braun Strowman is right now. Here’s a poll from WWE.com, asking what match from No Mercy fans are looking forward to most, to help illustrate the point:

ALL THAT BEEF, BABY!
John Cena vs. Roman Reigns is a legitimate WrestleMania level main event, one that has featured multiple segments that have driven interest through conversation in the broader wrestling community. Still, fans are far more invested in Strowman challenging Brock Lesnar for the Universal title.
Some of that is Lesnar, yes, and some of it the title, sure, but Braun has become an outright force, a bad guy who is bad only in presentation. His rise is not unlike Brock’s, his talents eerily similar. Strowman is an athletic big man with a certain charisma that attracts you to his particular brand of violence for reasons you hardly explain but he’s so entertaining you don’t even care to.
You just enjoy it.
This should also give WWE hope that with Cena coming to the end of his career they may have another option for a top guy beyond Reigns. Maybe.
