Viewership for this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw was delayed due to Hurricane Irma making landfall in Florida this past weekend but the numbers are in and WWE held up pretty well against the opening week of its yearly toughest competition, Monday Night Football.
Indeed, the show drew 2.90 million viewers this week, down slightly from last week’s 2.93 million viewers on Labor Day.
Here’s the hourly breakdown:
Hour one: 3.02 million
Hour two: 2.98 million
Hour three: 2.69 million
The two NFL games did 11.39 and 9.93 million viewers, so WWE holding up this well against opening weekend would seem to be a good sign. The Brock Lesnar vs. Braun Strowman and John Cena vs. Roman Reigns feuds feel hot, and they have at least one more week to count on both before No Mercy later this month.
