Just last week, Asuka relinquished her NXT title on NXT TV. The reason they gave was that she and NXT General Manager William Regal were negotiating a deal to move her to the main roster. But would it be Raw or would it be SmackDown?
We learned tonight that it’ll be Raw.
Tonight, Corey Graves announced that Kurt Angle secured the hottest free agent in wrestling and then they played a Asuka hype video that ended with “coming soon.” We’ll have to wait and see when soon is.

It sounded like many fans would have preferred the undefeated Empress of Tomorrow on the blue brand, but Raw was always the rumor. Now we’ll see her in a division with superstars like Bayley, Sasha Banks, Nia Jax, Alexa Bliss, and Emma.
