Nikki Bella hopes to return to WWE in 2018 ... alongside Brie

During an interview with Inside the Ropes, Nikki Bella revealed her targeted return date to WWE and, sadly, it’s not until next year:

"Definitely coming back, and I want to come back when I have my sister by my side. It's been I think over two years since the Bella Twins have been in the ring together, so I definitely want to make a comeback with Brie. I'm obviously still waiting for my neck to heal, so I'm hoping 2018 is gonna be the time that we come back. I hope before then, but I don't know if that can happen."

She would go on to say her surgeon doesn’t want her wrestling at all but if she must, it will only be a part-time schedule. That was the plan when she returned last year but she ended up working full time until she injured her neck again just before WrestleMania.

Thankfully, she was booked in a tag match alongside her boyfriend, John Cena, and that paved the way for an in-ring proposal after a safe match against Miz and Maryse.

Her sister, Brie, has been out for some time thanks to her pregnancy and taking care of her newborn, Birdie. She has also expressed a desire to return to wrestling by 2018.

Why not both?
