Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax number one contender match set for Raw next week

Bayley suffered an injured shoulder during a match with Nia Jax last week, and this week brought the bad news that tests revealed she would have to miss SummerSlam. That left Alexa Bliss without a challenger for her Raw women’s championship.

The idea to find the next top contender was a mini-tournament, where two triple threat matches on Monday Night Raw this week would determine who would square off in a number one contender match on Monday Night Raw next week.

In the first one, Emma fought hard and was close to pinning Alicia Fox but Sasha Banks was too much to handle and she used the Banks Statement to earn a submission victory.

The second one saw Nia Jax take on Dana Brooke and Mickie James and you probably don’t need me to finish this sentence to know who won this match.

So it’s on for next week: Banks vs. Jax, winner gets Little Miss Bliss at SummerSlam.
