Their relationship’s been a bit of a rough ride, but Mauro Ranallo and WWE seem to have found the right place for him in NXT.
Doubly great because tomorrow, Saturday, Aug. 26, Ranallo is going to call one of the biggest combat sports spectacles of all-time as the voice of Showtime Boxing pay-per-view (PPV), and the black-and-yellow brand shouted out their play-by-play in a message which was retweeted by WWE Executive Vice-President Paul “Triple H” Levesque:
Best of luck to the #VoiceofNXT @mauroranallo as he prepares to call #MayweathervsMcGregor this weekend in Las Vegas, NV! pic.twitter.com/C4s60bnGZN

Mamma mia! After all the drama from earlier this year, that’s good stuff.
Good luck tomorrow, Mauro!
