John Cena sided with the Brooklyn crowd’s beach ball antics after Raw went off the air

The main event of this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw was derailed by fans at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York playing around with beach balls. It got to the point that WWE decided to acknowledge as much during the show:

Security guards were out in force, however, tracking the beach balls down and taking them away. They were clearly disruptive to the action in the ring, and a distraction from the show, but it sure seemed like the fans were into it.

After Raw went off the air, John Cena spoke to the crowd and actually took their side, even saying he’s none too happy with the security guards who were taking the beach balls away:

The gist of his message was that fans paid to see the show and were having a great time and that’s really all that should matter. He went along with it while Raw was on the air and stayed true to that when the show went off the air.

Having said that, it’s also Cena’s job to send the crowd home happy. He endeared himself quite well to everyone in the audience and put a smile on their faces.

Job well done.
