WWE SummerSlam 2017 results: Randy Orton stays beating Rusev with the RKO

@WWE

A couple weeks before tonight’s (Sun., Aug. 20, 2017) SummerSlam pay-per-view (PPV) at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, WWE realized Randy Orton had nothing to do on the card. Rusev also didn’t have anything to do, so they put the two in a program that was basically “Orton RKO’s Rusev outta nowhere.”

The match wasn’t much different.

Rusev actually appeared to learn his lesson. Instead of waiting for his entrance, he simply ran out and attacked while Orton was still making his. It took a few minutes for the referee to officially start the match.

Then he did.

Then an RKO.

Orton wins.

Just like that.
