WWE SummerSlam 2017: Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman vs. Samoa Joe full match preview

The match

A Fatal 4-Way for the WWE Universal championship in the main event of tonight’s (Sun., Aug. 20, 2017) SummerSlam pay-per-view (PPV) at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The players

Brock Lesnar: The beastly champion, who may or may not be leaving if he loses the title; will probably get beat up by Jon Jones if he does

Roman Reigns: It’s his yard, and he maintains it by swinging swords; has been thrown around and thoroughly beaten down by everyone in this match; will probably still win

Braun Strowman: A monster among men; loves Chipotle and orders enough to feed a family of four each time he visits; should win

Samoa Joe: Speaks softly but chokes people out; will probably kill you and eat Denny’s later; is amazing in pretty much every way

The story

The idea has been that Reigns, Strowman, and Joe all have legitimate claims to the number one contender spot. Because all three are big and violent and nearly impossibly for Raw General Manager Kurt Angle to control, he gave them all a title shot at the same time.

The route they went from there was Paul Heyman voicing displeasure on behalf of his advocate that they could very well lose the title without Brock being involved in the decision. All three could simply gang up on him, overwhelm him, take him out, and decide the next champion amongst themselves. They have threatened to leave the company if this happens.

What to expect

Just a lot of beef moving about the ring bumping into each other. It’s going to be incredible.
