Is it real? Storyline? Work? Shoot? Kayfabe? Reality?
All of the above?
Hopefully, we’ll never know for sure (and I say “hopefully” because the only way we’d probably get a conclusive answer is if she needs surgery and WWE releases those black and white operating room pics they love so much). But while we’re debating it and re-watching footage of her match with Nia Jax where the shoulder injury reported last night occurred and waiting for more news, know that a lot of folks on the WWE roster are either aware she’s really hurt, in on the act or being fooled by said act.
They definitely all really love Bayley.
Get better soon sister. Thinking of you @itsBayleyWWE— Peyton Royce (@WWEPeytonRoyce) August 2, 2017
I think sending heaps of hugs to @itsBayleyWWE will heal her shoulder faster than if we didn't send hugs. So...HOW'S THERE NO HUG EMOJI ♀️— Peyton Royce (@WWEPeytonRoyce) August 2, 2017
The Hugster’s thanks to her supportive roster-mates is a good sign of why, too:
At least my hair looks kyoot.— Bayley (@itsBayleyWWE) August 2, 2017
Thanks for the love everyone. Trying my best to keep positive. https://t.co/1f6kvsLFBc
And while one of the big theories about why this is a work (or how it will be used in one) involves a turn or at least an increase in hostilities between The Boss and Hug Connection, Sasha Banks is still feeling nurturing toward her bestie right now:
Keep those positive vibes flowing, and we’ll let you know as soon as we hear something about Bayley’s diagnosis, or WWE’s plans for her match against Alexa Bliss for the Raw Women’s title at SummerSlam.
