Watch Adam Cole debut in NXT by attacking Drew McIntyre at TakeOver, BAY BAY

It wasn’t a huge surprise. Word of his signing was confirmed by multiple sources earlier this week, and he was spotted at the airport en route to Brooklyn with the rest of the NXT roster yesterday.

The rumored faction of Ring of Honor (ROH) exs started to take shape earlier in the night, when Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly attacked SAnitY moments after they won the tag belts.

But the close of TakeOver: Brooklyn III still popped the crowd. In the video above, you can here the Barclays Center audience buzzing even before the camera pans to reveal Fish and O’Reilly in the corner of the ring, leering at Drew McIntyre moments after he won the NXT championship from Bobby Roode. And they erupt when Adam Cole jumps Drew from behind, leading to a beatdown capped with a Superkick and a pose with the belt for the former three-time ROH World titleholder.

It’s an interesting group, with Kyle as the connective tissue between Future Shock with Cole and reDRagon with Fish.

But we have plenty of time to think about all that. For now, the NXT landscape is very different - at least on the men’s side - than it was just days before.

Really looking forward to that taping at Full Sail next week, BAY BAY!
