NXT has put a bow around its TakeOver: Brooklyn III live event from Barclays Center as the promotion wrapped up the show tonight (Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017) with a new faction jumping the just crowned NXT champion Drew McIntyre after he pinned Bobby Roode. That followed one of the hardest fought victories of Asuka’s legendary WWE run, as she submitted Ember Moon.
Was one of those the best match on the card?
There’s certainly a case to be made for almost every bout we got tonight. Johnny Gargano and Andrade “Cien” Almas got the crowd fired up with a great opener, SAnitY captured the tag belts in an all-out war with Authors of Pain, and Aleister Black and Hideo Itami hit each other square in the face early and often.
