Bray Wyatt vs. Finn Bálor
Let’s be honest. There’s never any rhyme nor reason for how Bray Wyatt chooses his next target. Sure, he may cut 10 promos explaining it, but really, they’re just gibberish. It’s flowery and it sounds really nice, but it’s gibberish nonetheless.
So Finn Bálor likely doesn’t know why he was the next person chosen by the Eater of Worlds. Just one day, Bray appeared on the Titantron and spoke some words to the leader of the Bálor Club.
To make matters worse, the following week, he cost him a match against Elias Samson.
Finn decided to play some mind games of his own, appearing in the ring like Bray is wont to do. And to mess with New Face of Fear more, Finn had his back towards the man, showing no fear of Wyatt. Bray, for his part, loved this. He had a good laugh at it all.
Their issues continued until last Monday a brawl backstage forced Kurt Angle’s hand. He decided to have their scheduled SummerSlam match that night instead.
It was a match that Bray Wyatt won with a Sister Abigail, but the end of that match was just the beginning. Bray revealed a bucket of what I assume was pig blood, which he likely carries around just in case he needs it for any reason. (Unsure at this time if that’s a carry on item or he needs to check it.) He dumped the blood over a defeated Bálor.
It was the second worst remake of Carrie ever.
Why did Wyatt do this? Really, at this point who knows what Wyatt’s motives are. Maybe he wanted to bring out the Demon. Maybe his bucket of blood was going to expire soon so he decided he needed to use it soon. Either way, perhaps he bit off more than he can chew.
Finn demanded a rematch with Bray this Sunday, but this time, he’s going to go to summon the demon. This is his alter ego, which the WWE hasn’t seen since SummerSlam last year and one that Finn says takes toll when its summoned.
How will Finn be different? Pretty much he’ll be wearing bodypaint and he won’t lose. But the entrance is cooler!
Will Wyatt is regret summoning the demon? Is that what he wanted the entire time? Will he bring another bucket of blood or was that his last one?
