Barring some last minute changes when a new episode of NXT airs on WWE Network tonight (Aug. 16), we know what the match card for Saturday’s TakeOver: Brooklyn III looks like.
But Triple H and company have some more tricks up their sleeve, and we’re not talking about Adam Cole.
Haitch talked about Brooklyn being the black-and-yellow brand’s WrestleMania on his pre-event conference call earlier this afternoon, and it’s an idea borne out by the announcement of TakeOver’s pre-show. The 30 minute streaming show - available on the Network and the company’s numerous other online outlets - will not only feature the usual panel of commentators and analysts, but NXT will bring back several noteworthy alums.
And once the main show starts, some big names will be watching from ringside at Barclays Center.
From WWE.com’s story:
In addition to match analysis from panelists Charly Caruso, Corey Graves, WWE Hall of Famer Lita and Sam Roberts, the Superstar-studded Pre-Show will feature appearances by NXT’s most decorated alumni, including Shinsuke Nakamura, Sasha Banks, Carmella and Neville. Renee Young will also join the Pre-Show, bringing the NXT Universe backstage as she interviews some of the evening’s luminaries.
With other SmackDown LIVE and Raw Superstars like Kevin Owens expected to be in attendance Saturday night at the Barclays Center, NXT’s Brooklyn homecoming is not to be missed.
Hmmm. With KO in attendance, what could possibly go wrong?
Tune in Saturday and find out.
