Wrestler advertised for wrestling show, internet freaks out

In a since deleted tweet, the Barclays Center announced Brock Lesnar would be on Raw this upcoming Monday, Aug. 21.

This is potentially a spoiler for the previous night’s SummerSlam pay-per-view (PPV) at the same venue. Lesnar is set to defend the belt he’s touted as still holding on Monday at that show. What’s more, his advocate Paul Heyman has vowed they’ll both leave WWE - as in, not appear on Raw - if he loses in Sunday’s Fatal 4Way main event...

Now, cards are always subject to change, and even if Vince McMahon goes through with the angle of Heyman and Lesnar leaving for a while (possibly to cover for a UFC fight), it wouldn’t be surprising if they showed up on Monday so Paul could explain why while Brock jogs in place beside him. But, if you’re looking to be completely surprised by the outcome of The Biggest Party of The Summer, this could impact that.

And if you’re upset about that, you REALLY don’t want to go to the FedEx Forum website to see what they have advertised for the following Monday, Aug. 28...

It’s a line-up which matches up with’s own “Featured Superstars” list for that night, too...

So, either WWE Creative isn’t looping in the venues and their own ticket sales teams about their plans, or Brock isn’t leaving on Sunday - either because he’s remaining Universal champ, or because of some other plot device.

There you have it. Freak out, or not, as you see fit.
