It’s been rumored for quite some time, and it looks like it’s officially happening.
Three-time Ring of Honor (ROH) World champ Adam Cole has signed with WWE according to a report by PWInsider (confirmed by Pro Wrestling Sheet and Wrestling Observer). Sources say Cole will head to the Performance Center in Orlando this week, and should debut with NXT soon.
So, while I don’t have anyone telling me this for sure or anything... if you’re headed to TakeOver: Brooklyn III this Saturday, Aug. 19, you might want to have your “BAY-BAY” sign ready for when he shows up in the crowd, is all I’m saying.
The 28 year old Cole follows fellow Ring of Honor-exs Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly to WWE’s third brand, with Donovan Dijak and Lio Rush said to be coming in close behind those three.
Maybe there’s something to those ROH stable rumors after all...
Stay tuned.
