Kairi Sane made her NXT debut, and she brought some fellow Mae Young Classic stars with her

We were excited to learn that Kairi Sane (née Hojo) would be competing at NXT’s St. Petersburg live event on Aug. 10 - not only because it meant she was cleared from a concussion she reportedly suffered during the filming of WWE Network’s upcoming Mae Young Classic (MYC), but also because since those shows won’t be available for streaming for a few more weeks, it would effectively be the Japanese star’s debut for the company.

What we didn’t know is that Kairi wouldn’t be the only MYC entrant to appear at the St. Pete National Guard Armory.

Sane brought Dakota Kai with her to team with Aliyah for a trios match. Kai will also be heading to New York to appear for Progress this weekend, because wrestling is like that now. But that wasn’t all!

She’s not officially signed (that we know of), but Shayna Bazler is at the center of some pretty big WWE rumors these days. We have to wait until the last Monday of this month to see how the Four Horsewomen stand-off from the MYC is portrayed, but just the fact the Queen of Spades appeared to team with Billie Kay and Peyton Royce is very noteworthy:

The babyfaces won - and we also got final confirmation the rumors about WWE forbidding Sane from using her finisher were wrong!

Just a good night all around!

Is it Aug. 28 yet?
