This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw was the go home show to the Great Balls of Fire pay-per-view (PPV) scheduled for this Sunday night in Dallas. Brock Lesnar was back and it was, essentially, all hands on deck to promote the last big show before SummerSlam for the red brand.
Viewers were still down, as the show drew 2.83 million viewers. That’s down from last week’s 2.97 million.
The hourly breakdown:
Hour one: 2.82 million
Hour two: 2.91 million
Hour three: 2.78 million
Granted, it was the Fourth of July weekend. The numbers should be up somewhat next week with fallout from Lesnar’s Universal title defense against Samoa Joe.
